Science is taught by subject area in the junior high. Besides information received from content in the textbook, students also perform labs that help them visualize concepts that they have read about. Every two years, a science fair is held, and seventh and eighth grade students are required to participate.
6th grade - earth science
7th grade - life science
8th grade - physical science (chemistry and physics)
