Welcome to Ms. Pitsilos' Room
Room 101 is the self-contained classroom for junior high school students with LD (Learning Differences) who receive support services for more than 50% of their school day. Individualzed Education Plans are set for each student yearly based on the state standards and the learning level of the child. Students work towards achieving their goals in science, math, reading, language arts, social studies, and spelling.
Reading: The Cay by Theodore Taylor, The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving are some of the novels currently being explored.
