Welcome to Ms. Petergal's Room
This year the music classes got started on a rousing note by learning a number of patriotic songs. We’ve followed that up with American folk songs, holiday songs, pop, and even some rap.
The Kindergarten through 4th grade students showed off their talents in the Winter Concert, and in the spring we’ll be treated to a performance, by the upper grades, in the musical “Tom Sawyer”. Our 4th & 5th Grade chorus met through December, when they finished off all their hard work with a beautiful performance on December 19th. The Recorder Club has just recently begun their practices, but they’re hard at work on their advanced duets and trios.
This year we’re also studying a new composer each month, playing instruments, learning a variety of dances, and creating original raps and songs.
