The Board of Education recognizes the importance of an informed public and to this end a formal program of providing information shall be a high priority. The Board believes that cooperation between the community and the schools is enhanced when effective communications exist. The Board further adopts the position that the Board of Education has an obligation to keep the community informed about its schools through a Board-Community Relations program.
The Board-Community Relations Program shall be provided at a reasonable cost and the administration shall report on the state of its community relations program annually to the Board.
