PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Pennoyer School District 79, Cook County, Illinois  (the “District”) will hold a public hearing on the 8th day of October, 2025 at 6:00pm.  The hearing will be at Pennoyer School in the Large Learning Hub, 5200 N. Cumberland Avenue, Norridge, IL 60706.  The purpose of the public hearing will be to receive public comments on the application for waiver or modification of the state board rules and/or school code mandates -  Section 17-1.5 of the School Code.  The Pennoyer School District 79 would like to reclassify the Director of Technology to the Chief School Business Official position which will be an increase of $7,208.79 in total compensation.  The Director of Technology responsibilities will be assumed under the Chief School Business Official.
