SC.5.4.1 Characterize matter we see as being made of particles too small to be seen (atoms/molecules). 5-PS1-1
SC.5.4.2 Relate the physical properties of matter to the physical properties of the smallest particle of that matter. (H20 molecule vs. glass of water) 5-PS1-2
SC.5.4.3 Describe the Law of Conservation of Matter in terms of mass in chemical and physical combinations of matter. 5-PS1-2
SC.5.4.4 Describe evidence to use in determining whether a physical or chemical change has occurred. 5-PS1-4
SC.5.4.5 Use evidence to describe the Law of Conservation of Matter when creating and separating mixtures. 5-PS1-3

Academic Vocabulary: characterize, relate, describe, evidence
