Students will examine self-awareness, and identity while citing sources through accountability, comparing, contrasting and presenting through various media sources and fiction/non-fiction text. |

Students will use instructional level books or articles in order to determine how point of view is conveyed, presenting their own view to peers through an argumentative text using technology. |

Students will produce a real or imagined narrative by analyzing the text structure of previously read texts. |

Students will determine the main idea of nonfiction texts by analyzing text evidence and structure. |

Students will compare and contrast the point of view in texts of different genres and their approaches to similar themes and topics. |
